Located in the heart of BC’s Sea to Sky Country, Squamish Waldorf school is in its 14th year and growing apace with its locale. Our strategic plan has set a goal for the school to move to a new, purpose-built facility by 2021. The business administrator will play a critical role as a member of the capital project team.
The business administrator brings leadership and support to the operations and healthy functioning of Squamish Waldorf School, and collaborates with the principal in day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting in a variety of areas, such as financial/legal, development, admissions, outreach/communication, safety, human resources, fundraising and project planning.
Reporting to the board of directors, the business administrator works closely with the principal, faculty chair and faculty as a whole. Administrators are competitively compensated and receive tuition benefits for their children. Candidates must have excellent leadership and administrative skills, a strong business sense, strong interpersonal and public communication skills, experience with fiscal management and a commitment to Waldorf education. Candidates must be motivated, determined, flexible, and creative. Requirements include experience and/or certification in business, non-profit or related fields. Waldorf administrative training is an asset.

Seeking a part-time violin teacher for Grades 4-7. Requirements include a music degree and group teaching experience, and a willingness to work with Waldorf methods to deliver a music curriculum. Preferred candidates will have a BC teaching certificate.
