We believe that education is a partnership between school and family. Our values of fairness, diversity, and collaboration are critical to achieving our goal of a vibrant and inclusive school community and an enriched educational experience for parents, students and faculty alike.

Enrolment applications are accepted year-round.

Steps to Enrolment

Please complete the appropriate forms and return to the Squamish Waldorf School secretary, along with the application fee of $55 per child and a copy of your child’s birth certificate. Applications will be processed in a fair and timely manner, with consideration given to creating healthy classes and a view to long term enrolment stability. All forms are listed and available for download here.

Applications are accepted at any time of the year; however, applications received after 15 March will only be considered if there is room. Review our Wait List Policy here.

Upon receipt of the application, the teacher will contact you to schedule an interview. The interview is designed to assist you in determining whether Waldorf education is the best fit for your child, and to build a relationship with the child’s teacher.

The teacher will make a decision based on all of the information gathered. This includes the interview with parents and student, and consideration of the healthy development of the child, as well as the social health of the class.

Financial Arrangements
Once accepted, a financial contract that details obligations and payment options will be returned to you as soon as possible. Fees are paid in monthly instalments, with a discount available for full payment in advance. If needed, families may apply to the Tuition Assistance program.

The financial contract for each year commences June 1, and your child’s enrolment is assumed to be continuous, unless written notice is given to the school. Please click here for details on our Withdrawal Policy.
