Each of us is one small light, but together we shine bright! Interwoven with the rhythms of the earth, festivals connect us with spiritual life. The Lantern Walk reminds us to carry light within us as the dark days of winter approach. At 6pm on November 8 at Brackendale fairgrounds, students will light up the night carrying their handmade lanterns and singing songs along a beautifully-lit pathway through the woods.

We encourage parents to sing along with the children as they walk — all three songs have been recorded and are available by clicking the links below. We thank Benoit Forest for the recordings. Printed lyrics for the songs are available in the office and singers will also be out at drop off next week to share the songs in person.

The festival begins at 6pm sharp so please be on time. This is a silent walk so we appreciate your help in keeping the mood and holding silence between songs.

*No dogs, flashlights, or electronic devices please as they are distractions from the magical experience for everyone.
