Protocol for safe delivery of materials

 

 Package assembly

 

•    Packages are assembled a minimum of 48 hours before they are distributed
•    Employees will wash their hands frequently during package assembly
•    Employees will not assemble materials if they are feeling sick, have a fever or a cough
•    Employees may wear protective face coverings such as a bandana or homemade mask when assembling packages

 

 Package delivery and distribution
•    Employees will not deliver or distribute materials if they are feeling sick, have a fever or a cough
•    Employees will carry hand sanitizer and will sanitize their hands between each delivery
•    Employees will maintain a physical distance of 2 metres from others when distributing materials
•    Employees will leave materials outdoors and recommend that they stay outside for two hours before coming into the home, or that the packages are wiped down with sanitizer

 

Receiving materials from the school (for families)
•    SWS recommends that families leave packages outside for a minimum of two hours, or wipe down the packages with sanitizing wipes before bringing them inside
